There’s a certain romance to the land in Spring time that’s hard to describe, but if you are like me and being observant you’ll see what I mean.
The Oaks trees bloom and are a tender bright green, the grass is still green, and wild flowers lay a blanket of color over the hills. Baby calves, chicks, goats, piggies, and more are bouncing around bringing me joy with the spring in their step.
I grab my cup of coffee in the early morning and go for a walk around the property making mental notes of all the chores that still need to be done and come across this sweet little sign of new life. These eggs are maybe 1/2”, tiny little things that will grow to bring me even more joy to the sound of their chirps.
All the while the world is seemingly in chaos from the Corona Virus Pandemic, and here I choose to see that life continues to march on in the sweetest of ways and I am eternally grateful for the gift of these small experiences.
